Baskets full of mangoes, as sweet as honey

My mum's love is just as sweet as the lovely mangoes she sends me all the way from Goa.  For years my mum and dad packed baskets full of delicious mangoes from our garden in Assolna, Goa.  The trees been planted over generations by my great grand parents, grand parents, parents and even my brother ensure that we have enough and more to share of the most amazing variety of fruit, straight from the trees. What luxury!

My dad made grafts of prize mangoes and the products were named after my mum, my sister and me.  Just imagine, at least something got named after me :)  He sent them into fruit shows and competitions and won prizes too.

Living away from home has its benefits :)   Mangoes made their way to my friend for her wedding - the basket was sent to her in-laws with pride and she still remembers them.

Not only I, but my friends and neighbours have bitten into these juicy, yummy fruit of love.

These are the simple joys of life that come for free - for everything else there's MASTERCARD!
